Bloging over Italy

At the same period last year, I was planning a one-month trip to Italy. Traveling books were hanging everywhere around the house. More I was reading and more I was dreaming of places and cities I wanted to visit. In a previous trip, I have visited Roma, Venice, Pisa and Firenze. This time, at first, before reading and organizing a meeting point with my father to Napoli, and having my daughter to meet me later on, I had in mind to mostly visit the Toscana region. But, how go to Italy and not visit either the South or North Sea Coast. After all, I was there for one month!

So here is my itinerary mostly presented with photos.

First, a sketchy map of Italy.

My first southernmost destination was Sant’Agnello, which is just nearby Sorrento, located on the Amalfi Coast.  Perched above the Napoli Bay, these two lovely small cities are garnished with lemon trees, the evidence of why the best  Limoncello are from the Sorrento region.

Small path leading to the Villa Oriana, my first accommodation.  Simply a paradise that you never want to leave!
